Our Leadership Team: Guiding the Way Forward
Our leadership team, led by Gavin Singleton and Hayley Evans, ensures that Shine Cymru provides the highest standard of care and support. They are joined by Lisa Walters (Head of Services) and our two Day Service Managers, Dione Harries (Pennard House) and Rebecca Gregg (Castle Bailey House), who oversee the daily operations and development of our person-centred programs.
Activity Coordinators: Bringing Activities and Engagement to Life
Life Skills – encouraging essential skills like budgeting, personal safety, and independent living.
Digital World – Helping individuals navigate technology safely and effectively, including responsible device use and online communication.
Music and Drama – Building confidence, emotional expression, and social skills through creative arts and performance-based activities.
Communication and Art – Encouraging self-expression through speech, sign language, body language, and creative projects.
Sensory World – Providing sensory-based activities and therapy to support individuals with sensory needs, promoting relaxation and engagement.

Our Support Workers are the driving force behind everything we do. They work directly with our young adults every day, providing guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support to help individuals develop their confidence, independence, and life skills.
Support Workers build trusting relationships, ensuring that each young adult feels safe, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential. They assist with daily activities, facilitate learning experiences, and help individuals engage with their community.
Operational Staff: The Backbone of Shine Cymru
Behind the scenes, our Operational Staff play an essential role in ensuring Shine Cymru runs smoothly. This team includes our Caretaker, Cook, Finance and a Receptionist, all of whom contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment. From preparing nutritious meals to keeping our facilities running efficiently, their work ensures that every young adult receives the best possible care and support.
